It's Monday! What Are You Reading? 9-17-12

Originally hosted by Sheila at Book Journey, Jen and Kellee  over at Teach Mentor Texts also host a kidlit version of It's Monday! What are You Reading?

I am so behind on my reading it's not even funny. I'm still reading:

Ten Things Every Writer Needs to Know by Jeff Anderson
Until I Die by Amy Plum

I'm still listening to:

Beautiful Days by Anna Godbersen

I just finished listening to:

Let's Pretend This Never Happened: A Mostly True Memoir by Jenny Lawson

On the blog last week:

I wrote a review of Between Shades of Gray by Ruta Sepetys. This is bar far one of the best historical fictions I have ever read. Such an important story that needed to be told.

I interviewed the brilliant Lenore Appelhans, author of the debut novel Level 2

I wrote about my trip to Key West

  1. I'd heard so much about this YA book called Between Shades of Gray that I requested it at my library. When I went to check it out, I got the look as if I were checking out something off-color. I suddenly realized that the staff thought I was checking out that Other Gray Book!

Here's my It's Monday! What Are You Reading? I hope you will stop by!

  4. I really want to read the Amy Plum books. They sound really interesting to me - more than just your typical paranormal fantasy, ha! (also, Key West is AWESOME! Loved visiting there last year).

  6. Between Shades of Grey was amazing! Did you read Code Name Verity? I listened and the narrator is wonderful. Let's Pretend was lots of fun. I am so far behind on my reading too! And I can't even tell you the last time I actually wrote a review...sigh.

  9. Your "Between Shades of Grey" reminded me of a different book with 'shades of grey' in its title as well, hahhaha! I know what you mean about being behind on one's reading, I feel that I could read more as well, but too many things crammed in one day. *sigh*
