It's Monday! What Are You Reading? 9-17-12

Originally hosted by Sheila at Book Journey, Jen and Kellee  over at Teach Mentor Texts also host a kidlit version of It's Monday! What are You Reading?

I am so behind on my reading it's not even funny. I'm still reading:
Ten Things Every Writer Needs to Know by Jeff Anderson
Until I Die by Amy Plum

I'm still listening to:
Beautiful Days by Anna Godbersen

I just finished listening to:
Let's Pretend This Never Happened: A Mostly True Memoir by Jenny Lawson

On the blog last week:

I wrote a review of Between Shades of Gray by Ruta Sepetys. This is bar far one of the best historical fictions I have ever read. Such an important story that needed to be told.

I interviewed the brilliant Lenore Appelhans, author of the debut novel Level 2

I wrote about my trip to Key West

  1. I'd heard so much about this YA book called Between Shades of Gray that I requested it at my library. When I went to check it out, I got the look as if I were checking out something off-color. I suddenly realized that the staff thought I was checking out that Other Gray Book!

Here's my It's Monday! What Are You Reading? I hope you will stop by!

  2. I would love to read Unitl I Die too!
    Happy Monday and Good Reading!
    Here's what I'm reading

  3. Let's Pretend has been calling to me - haven't read it yet but its definitely been calling my name. Did you like it??

Happy reading this week! :) Whatcha readin' this week @ the Brunette Librarian :)

  4. I really want to read the Amy Plum books. They sound really interesting to me - more than just your typical paranormal fantasy, ha! (also, Key West is AWESOME! Loved visiting there last year).

  5. I'm off to read your review of Between Shades of Grey...sounds interesting :)

    The Relentless Reader

  6. Between Shades of Grey was amazing! Did you read Code Name Verity? I listened and the narrator is wonderful. Let's Pretend was lots of fun. I am so far behind on my reading too! And I can't even tell you the last time I actually wrote a review...sigh.

  7. Between Shades of Grey - I've seen such great reviews! Hope you enjoy all the books you're reading this week.

  8. Between Shades of Grey features frequently on Monday posts this week. A sign! I need to read this book.

  9. Your "Between Shades of Grey" reminded me of a different book with 'shades of grey' in its title as well, hahhaha! I know what you mean about being behind on one's reading, I feel that I could read more as well, but too many things crammed in one day. *sigh*
